Having completed his undergrad at the University of Calgary and received his MBA from Queen's University, Jeremy was well-equipped to present the Business Grad Keynote to the Haskayne School of Business. During his Business Grad Keynote, Jeremy taught both students and faculty how large companies and businesses experienced growth and development during past periods of recession. By using this information, companies can further understand how an unstable economic climate does not mean bankruptcy. Jeremy used examples of past companies such as Fortune magazine, a business started during the depression that grew to rake in an annual profit of $500,000 in the 1930s. Jeremy explored how these past examples demonstrate that companies can find opportunity during times of chaos.
