Jeremy Gutsche’s Information Processing Keynote discussed the concepts and topics featured in his recently published book, ‘Exploiting Chaos: Ways to Spark Innovation During Times of Change.’ During his Information Processing Keynote, Jeremy shared his beliefs about the importance of customer obsession, customer-focused innovation and embracing a cultural connection with customers rather than just an emotional one. His interactive presentation covered a variety of business cases, which presented key concepts to help this industry navigate through the turbulent waters of the economic recession. He also referred to these case studies to illustrate how success can lead to complacency within teams, and offered a variety of ways to avoid this. Gutsche’s supercharged examples and videos illustrated how his self-built company Trend Hunter has prospered and continues to do so.
