His Retail Innovation Keynote talks about the concept of culture eating strategy for breakfast, and how many companies fail to recognize this crucial idea. The structure and atmosphere of an organization has a huge impact on how decisions are made and executed, and when arranged poorly it does not matter how genius a strategy actually is. Culture always wins, and if businesses do not recognize this key tool, it becomes extremely difficult for a company to grow.

Another point discussed in Jeremy’s Retail Innovation Keynote is how companies should never be lured in by complacency. Just because the business is doing well one year does not mean this will be the same the next, and it’s critical for innovation to be happening on a daily basis.
