Jeremy Gutsche is an innovation expert, a maverick speaker and the founder of the TrendHunter.com, the world's largest network for trend spotting and innovation. At age 28, he was one of Capital One's youngest Business Directors and innovation leads. With a relentless focus on innovation, he led his team to grow a billion dollar portfolio of market leading products. He holds an MBA from Queen's University, studied innovation at Stanford, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a former Management Consultant.

He speaks globally about viral trends and a cutting edge approach to methodical innovation. Routinely sourced by the media, Jeremy's broad appeal ranges from the Economist and the Financial Times to Entertainment Tonight and MTV.

As a Director at Capital One, Jeremy leads innovation and the company's Upmarket business (rewards, low-rate cards, line of credit). His team studies how to methodically approach customer focused innovation. His development of an innovation pipeline fueled his team to build a billion dollar portfolio of market leading low rate and reward products. In fact, in the 2007 annual report, CEO Richard Fairbank noted, "Canada arguably emerged as the Most Valuable Player in the GFS portfolio this year, effectively competing against the entrenched, incumbent banks in the Canadian market with great rates and compelling rewards offers."

Prior to Trend Hunter and Capital one, Jeremy spent the majority of his career as a Management Consultant at the Monitor Group. There he advised top-level strategy to Fortune 50 clients and government clients with a focus on scenario planning, creative innovation and the assessment of new ventures.

Jeremy holds an MBA from Queen's University and graduated as a Chancellor Scholar with a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Calgary. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a lifelong student of marketing, psychology and strategy. Most recently, he studied Customer Focused Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and d.School. He loves to teach and enjoys leading workshops in: competitive strategy, creativity and innovation.
