Jeremy Gutsche delivered the marketing keynote at Swiss Marketing Day in Switzerland on March 8, 2011.
Jeremy was invited to present his Marketing Development Keynote at the closing of this daylong event. During the presentation of his Marketing Development Keynote, Jeremy discussed some of the topics featured in his award-winning book, ‘Exploiting Chaos: Ways to Spark Innovation During Times of Change.’ He explained the importance of customer obsession and developing a culture of innovation within a team. Using examples from his book, Jeremy illuminated the benefits and rewards of a company that is capable of connecting with customers on a cultural level. Developing an emotional connection with consumers only works to a certain extant, and companies must push this a step further to convey their message effectively. Jeremy discussed how by understanding the culture, companies can market their products and ideas with more long-lasting results.
